Last week we showed you photos of wedding favors we had designed for a beach wedding.  Today it is our turn to show you some lovely wedding invitations for a wedding by the sea.

This wedding invitation design was due to a very original and unusual requirement by some clients of azulsahara. The bride and groom wanted a modern design, fit for a chic and cosmopolitan wedding. But they also wanted it to be pocket size, so that guests could carry it on them at all times. So we set out to the task of designing this wedding invitation. We chose an attractive combination of bright colours and designed a small invitation, in a very simple and users friendly format, with all the information inside it clearly displayed. This wedding invitation is not only handy but can also serve as a memoir of the wedding as you can carry it around all the time.

Our new wedding invitations collection has been featured in the magazine Atelier LOVE nº1. In azulsahara we thought of a Winter wedding with a distinctive flair and modern touch by combining a stripes design with vibrant colours that would cheer the dull Winter days. We decided these range of colours would also fit in perfectly with any other season of the year. To create a fresh and cheerful approach we combined different types of fonts, a more informal style for place cards and favors, and a more modern style for menus etc.
We took advantage of the use of natural materials such as wood, jute and recycled envelopes to emphasise the colours and the setting.

The accessories are very important. Have a look at the pearls on the invitation that match the shades of colours perfectly and the miniature paper flowers in fabric of the place cards and favors.

We want our guests to feel pampered and loved, that is the reason why the place cards wrap the napkins and all the favors come with the name of the couple and the wedding´s date.
The final touch is to add a poem to the invitation to stress the importance and feelings of the day.
