Today we are thrilled to share with all of you this lovely photoshoot where we worked alongside other great wedding professionals. We designed the stationery for the shoot which was published in one of the world´s best wedding blogs, Ruffled, a few weeks go.

Here in azulsahara we love to surprise you all the time with new wedding invitations designs, as designing is our passion. Today we wanted to hare with you one of our favourites : La Palma wedding invitation.

Today we would like to show an advance of our new line of wedding invitations that will be out in a few weeks. Classic and elegant wedding invitations that are a fusion of  two special and distinctive styles: classic and Asian.

Sometimes we just go crazy thinking in ways to surprise our guests at our Wedding Day. Why not add are own personal touch and love using beautiful labels to decorate the tables, wine bottles or the wedding favours.

There is still a few weeks before Christmas is here, but in azulsahara we are already in a Christmasy mood !! That is why we have designed some lovely, colourful and cheerful Christmas cards to send to all your family and friends. These cute Christmas cards, designed on a delicate and rich paper, will be available on azulsahara´s website from next week onwards.

Christmas is a special time of the year. A time to think about others, for this reason in azulsahara we are donating part of the profits made with the Christmas cards to MADES, a non-profitable association, that works with children and families in the most deprived areas of Peru and Bolivia.

It seemed only yesterday when we were all busy, here in the studio, preparing the wedding details for Eva and Angel´s wedding. This lovely couple got married last July at the marvelous Hotel Villaguadalupe, in Malaga.  The wedding´s photos were published only a few days ago by Bodas.net and it was really great to see how lovely everything looked, so we thought it would be nice to share with all of you the photos we took whilst preparing the details for Eva and Angel´s wedding.

For these designs we used bamboo, recycled papers,wooden pegs and strings to give it a rustic touch.  We thoroughly enjoyed designing this wedding stationery. Tt was fun and exciting, and working with Wednesday Wedding Planners was an absolute delight. If you want to know how it all looked at the end, in a near future we will be showing some photos of the wedding´s decorations.

Today in Azulsahara we want to show you some of our table numbers´designs. Table numbers are not only essential for the good organization and flow of the wedding but they are also an important part of the decoration. We have combined them today with different flower arrangements so you can see for yourselves how pretty they can look if you pay attention to the wedding colours and theme. Table numbers enhance the beauty of the decoration and they are a reflection of the bride and groom´s personality as they can be about anything they like, from numbers, to pictures or even names of places, things etc they like. They look great if they have the same design as the menus, place cards … but they also look very attractive if they have a different motif in the same style of design and shades of colour.

This wedding invitation design was due to a very original and unusual requirement by some clients of azulsahara. The bride and groom wanted a modern design, fit for a chic and cosmopolitan wedding. But they also wanted it to be pocket size, so that guests could carry it on them at all times. So we set out to the task of designing this wedding invitation. We chose an attractive combination of bright colours and designed a small invitation, in a very simple and users friendly format, with all the information inside it clearly displayed. This wedding invitation is not only handy but can also serve as a memoir of the wedding as you can carry it around all the time.

Table cards can not only look striking and very decorative but they are also a must if you want your wedding to be well organized. Once you have allocated a table for your family and guests, they have to know which table to go to. Table cards can have numbers, names of places (or others), pictures, photos on them… You can place them in frames on the table, attach them to the centre table arrangements… Table cards can match the stationery of the wedding, or the colours or theme of your wedding.

One of the moments of the banquet we all as guest are looking forward to is when we try out the delicious food they´ve prepared for us. That is why menus are not only an important part of the wedding décor but if they are nicely layout they can cause a sense of excitement amongst our guests. What will this delicious dessert be like?

This is one of the reasons why we have to take great care when choosing the design of the menu. The papers, colours, design, size, typography … all have to be taken into account.

There is several choices. We can go for a design that matches our wedding invitation with small details such as laces, flowers, tassel … or we can choose a menu completely different that matches our wedding colours or theme (vintage, chic, rural..). Another idea we like is to have a wide variety of designs at each table so that it gives it a more personal touch.

Most menus are designed in such a way that guests can take them away as a fond memory of the day. There is also other possibilities like the menu we show here. It is very original as it combines the table number with the menu for all the guesta at the table to see.

We have chosen some photos of the menus we like best. As you can gather they are all lovely and very delicate. You will probably find it difficult to choose only one !

It is great to feel the bride and groom have thought about you personally and that they have specifically thought of a place where you will feel comfortable at the table. Place cards also avoid unnecessary last minute hustle and misunderstandings.

Place cards are something very personal and they can be quite attractive, and enhance the wedding décor. There is a wide variety of possible designs and colours that will match the wedding theme and the couple´s personalities.

To add to this there is also the possibility that the place card is in itself a wedding favor that guests can take away with them. The place card could be a little box of sweets with the guest´s name on it placed at the table, or a triangular design with a pair of chopsticks inside, or even a nice tag tied to a cinnamon stick. A nice one to bear in mind is a place card that can be used to mark the page in a book.

In azulsahara we thought of a Winter wedding with a distinctive flair and modern touch by combining a stripes design with vibrant colours that would cheer the dull Winter days. We decided these range of colours would also fit in perfectly with any other season of the year. To create a fresh and cheerful approach we combined different types of fonts, a more informal style for place cards and favors, and a more modern style for menus etc.
We took advantage of the use of natural materials such as wood, jute and recycled envelopes to emphasise the colours and the setting.

A step back into the days where things where made with love, care and respect for our environment. Savana aims to revive old and beautiful traditions with its embroidered floral designs and recycled materials. As wedding invitations designers we are often asked to come up with ideas for an Autumn wedding. So we thought why not give the whole thing a modern and rural feeling about it, ideal for an outdoor wedding or an old family home in the North of Spain. A rich in texture, striped paper that mixes shades of brown with blueish grey will blend in beautifully with the Autumn Fall.
